Jacob DiBattista, MD

A native of Pittsburgh, Dr. DiBattista chose a career in medicine because it was the perfect blend of science, working with people, and service to others. While the training is difficult and the hours are long, he never once looked at the clock hoping that the day would go by quicker! His clinical interests include evaluating and treating all aspects of general gastroenterology, such as dysphagia, heartburn, peptic ulcer disease, diarrhea, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, colon cancer screening, pancreatitis, and liver diseases, among others. Additionally, Dr. DiBattista has a unique interest in inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease) and received specialized training within the University of Chicago IBD Center during fellowship. He is competent in managing difficult IBD cases while utilizing the latest therapies.Dr. DiBattista values his free time and enjoysspending as much time as possible with his wife and two sons. He is a devoted Pittsburgh sports fan and can be found watching football most weekends in the fall. Additionally, he is learning to become a handyman and landscaper around his new home in Naperville.
