Dr. Jain and Dr. Berger combined their extensive expertise and efforts in 1993 to create Suburban Gastroenterology, LTD. It is through their collective determination, Midwest Endoscopy, LTD was formed in 2007. Through this vision, Midwest Endoscopy Center has become the leader in endoscopic care in the Western suburbs. In addition we were the first state licensed Endoscopy center in DuPage County.
In 2009 we became only the second Endoscopy Center in the state of Illinois and first in DuPage County to receive the ASGE honor of Endoscopic Unit Recognition program. We gained further strides by adding advanced procedures such as Endoscopic Ultrasound in 2012. We continue to be leaders in endoscopic care in the Western suburbs as we advance into the future to meet your needs.
Joint Venture with Edward-Elmhurst Healthcare
As of 2014, Midwest Endoscopy Center is owned by the physicians and Edward Health Ventures, a subsidiary of Edward-Elmhurst Healthcare. This collaboration is designed to provide a safe and comfortable endoscopy facility that provides efficient and effective services to our patients.
